Mr Mojo Risin Jim Morrison belt

During the late 1960s, when The Doors were at the height of their fame, Jim Morrison purchased a concho belt from Wayne and Irma Bailey of Albuquerque. The belt was made by Joe H. Quintana. No one knows exactly what happened to the original following Morrison’s untimely death, but renewed interest in The Doors and Jim Morrison has drawn serious collectors to the iconic “Morrison Concho Belt.”

We believe the Mr Mojo Risin belt is the closest replica of the original available today. We make these belts for Robby Krieger of The Doors, who owns one for his personal collection, as well as for some of the world’s leading tribute acts.

Please note that each belt is individually handmade. Every piece is one of a kind and takes time to craft.

The belt is made from premium-quality 3.5mm buffalo leather. The buckle weighs 150g and measures 103.8 x 86.6mm. The conchos weigh 80g and measure 80.2 x 101mm. The buckle is secured with leather straps, as it would have been by Native Americans in the past.
