This one-of-one 60th Anniversary Jim Morrison belt is crafted from brown-tan leather to match the leather pants Jim wore at the Hollywood Bowl. This will be No. 1 and includes a 60th Anniversary certificate.Jim Morrison purchased a “concho belt” from Joe H. Quintana, the maker of the famous original belt. No one knows exactly what happened to the original after Morrison’s untimely death, but recent renewed interest in The Doors and Jim Morrison has drawn serious collectors to the “Morrison Concho Belt.”The Mr. Mojo Risin belt is believed to be the closest replica of the original available today. We make these belts for Robby Krieger of The Doors, as well as leading tribute acts around the world, including The Ultimate Doors and many more. Each belt takes approximately two weeks to make.The belt is made from premium-quality, 3.5 mm buffalo leather. The buckle weighs 150 g and measures 43.6 mm x 33.1 mm. The conchos measure 45.2 mm x 25.3 mm and weigh 80 g. The buckle is secured with leather straps, as would have been done by Native Americans in the past.
